I am what I am.Patrick is downstairs painting the kitchen. I feel bad about not helping him. I have good reasons!
1. I really hate the smell.
2. I'm horrible at painting. I'd just make more work for Patrick.
3. A "this is as good as it's going to be" person (me) and a perfectionist (Patrick) can not paint together, it's hard enough just living together.
4. I just really hate to paint.
5. If I did help, Patton would wake up as soon as I got started.
6. I really do hate it!

David and I have the same issues when we paint...or rather I paint. I'm a perfectionist too, blame the Gayley side of our family.
Oh and I don't mind when I have to paint everything, so don't feel bad.
I'm a perfectionist, Jim was not. I hated it when he wanted to help.
